Womens Day at Work!

Last evening commemorated Women’s Day Special at work, with an event being organized to celebrate this occasion.

Take-off had slight hiccups, but gradually all enthusiasts poured in and made the event and the evening a memorable one.
We women being hosts, men had to entertain us with their talents;).It was a purely men based activities. Accordingly, we were spilt into groups of six with eight people in each group.

Elocution competition was the first in the row, where men had to talk a few good qualities about women. In simple words, praise women. And they happened to exhibit such enthusiastic talent, that left we spectators dumbfound. The best part was, bachelors spoke the best of words( their exposure to knowing a woman to such depth, remains a mystery).

Next was the talent exhibition round, where participants danced, mimicked and sang.
Finally, to wind up the event was a saree round. Men wrapped themselves with sarees of different styles, of course with our help, with a different look and make-up. They went on a ramp walk, answered “toughest” of questions posed by judges and won prize.

It was an amazing evening indeed. Cheers to all enthusiasts !!

You girls did a fantastic job too in organising the wonderful event. The saree round wouldnt have been possible without you girls lending help in draping the sarees for the male aishwaryas, bipashas and muthammas. We had real fun. I havent had that kind of a nice time in the recent past. Three Cheers.
