Repent? Should i?

Had to stay in a lodge at Bangalore for a day on Sunday. While checking out on Monday, I do a shallow check of my belongings but unfortunately, the wireless card of my laptop is missing from its box, but I do I remember putting it there, the night before.

Filled with panic, I begin to unpack my belongings for making a thorough search. I search on and on……but the card is still missing. Then I check the card slot…………. not found.

Thinking for a while, I recall handing over my laptop to the lodge manager for an hour since I had to go out and couldn’t carry.
Immediately, I go to the lodge manager and tell him about the missing episode, but he gives me a cool and casual answer “We don’t know. You must have misplaced it somewhere Mam”. His attitude was such that, it would make every cool person’s spine boil. Filled with anger, I shout at the manager guy. He shouts back and there is a heated exchange of words.
Finally, while pushing out, I threaten him saying this incident would be the headlines in the next days paper. But he was still not budging. What guts?

My bad luck I thought and headed back home. Somehow, somewhere I had a strong urge at the back of my mind to check into the slot once again. Assuming it to be just another thought, I skipped it.
Few hours later I check my comp, and to my amazement card’s found in its slot. The only thing was its antenna had gone missing, that earlier checking went unnoticed.

As soon as I had the card in my hands, the first thing I thought was the innocent cottage guy, who had to bear with my wrath for no fault of his.
Thoughts that were running in my mind by then were – Should I call the cottage and apologise for my misbehaviour? But this ofcourse would give them an opportunity for repaying me back with all that I have told them along with interest. With all kinds of calculations I decided to keep quiet..

But at that moment what I did was right. Wasn’t i?

Or should I repent for my behaviour?

What would have been your possible reactions, had you been in my shoes?

What is Destiny?

What is destiny? Is there something called destiny really there? I have heard people referring to the good and bad happening to us as ‘destiny’ or something like this ‘purv janam ka kiya huwa karam’.

Funny, as if they have seen us in our ‘purva janam’. How can one say, which birth are we on?
Isn’t there a possibility that we are first time here?

Or let me put it this way:
I might have been a ‘Daaku’ in my previous birth and every bad I had done then, is affecting me now, over my present life where I am an innocent, sober and a God fearing being?

Does Daaku’s deeds of yesterday, affecting Flower of today mean destiny?Confused

How thin are you?

Today’s generation is ground flat influenced by media in every other aspect, out of which the major concern is on health.
A while ago, say years ago faces that appeared on the media were healthy and well built. But over the years, Hollywood has had its influence over our models which has made them skimpily built.
As an influence, people have been losing hell a lot of weight through various means, one of which is dieting, but is dieting helpful in the long run? May be yes in the case of obese ones. But what about those who already are slim?

The worst affect are the teenagers, who in the road to be trendy or to imitate their favourite models/stars end up loosing all the weight they have, which might lead to a severe health disaster.
First of all my concern is, why should the news about some Tom, Dick and Hary loosing weight be published or screened? Secondly, it’s the personal choice of an individual.

Is there a need to make this public and have a negative influence on we the viewers?
