What is Destiny?

What is destiny? Is there something called destiny really there? I have heard people referring to the good and bad happening to us as ‘destiny’ or something like this ‘purv janam ka kiya huwa karam’.

Funny, as if they have seen us in our ‘purva janam’. How can one say, which birth are we on?
Isn’t there a possibility that we are first time here?

Or let me put it this way:
I might have been a ‘Daaku’ in my previous birth and every bad I had done then, is affecting me now, over my present life where I am an innocent, sober and a God fearing being?

Does Daaku’s deeds of yesterday, affecting Flower of today mean destiny?Confused

i am still contemplating with doubts on what kinda creature I would have been in my previous birth.... and if i had a previous birth, what kinda previous death did i have?

Volumes have been written on it,some very deep and some very cofusing..and you want it in two lines..lol
For believers its yes for non believers its crap..I follow one principle whatever I was in purva Janma, let me not harm anyone even if I cant do much good..hopefully the cycle ends with this janma of mine..enough of it I had this one time itself..lol

i thought a lot about this. i dont think that destiny of a previous birth lies waiting for us to be born again... destiny for me is in the little choices that i make that will be paid back (with interest) in my future...

"We write our Destiny.."
thats nt a fully fledged statement..at times we don't want somthing to happen and it happens outta the blue..and yr left with nothing but complications..
I donno what i was in my previous birth..none of us do (except fr those tell tale morons who so calledly saw their "past")..
It has nothing to do with our future..
well thats a personal thought!!..

I believe that we make our DESTINY..to some extent.

@aayushi - I have the same belief as you on "we make our DESTINY".

We make or mar our lives with our deeds and deeds alone:)What say?

m.flowerr said...

@rant - well said and you are right!we better be good today for a better tomorrow:)

Well... Destiny... You have the next action in front of you. It is up to you to execute it in the way you want to. So... There you go...

And birth-rebirth... I have my own views... We are all forms of energy, which can neither be created nor destroyed. Once we die, this energy is sent back to the gene pool... Annihilation and procreation...

Nature has her own way... All your actions are registered somewhere (some call it God, others may call whatever they want; but I'll say Nature, here...) Actions are also part of the energy that returns to the gene pool. And when it manifests again (not necessarily in a 'next' birth... Anytime!), there may be feelings of déjà-vu... I mite sound crazy to people... But well, I'm game... Would love to discuss this.

By the way, nice blog.
