My Views!!!

Politics n Politicians are the two filthy words that has its dominant place in our Indian society..I am not a person interested in politics. But then, looking at the drawback and the loopholes in my backyard, how can i keep mum. Representatives who are elected by us or (if i put it this way, come to power by unfair means) are ruining our society and economy for meeting their own selfish needs, at the cost of 1 billion population. What are politicians doing for us? Of course for the places which are slightly developed, some more money is poured into the same and made a model city..that's fine. But what about the state of rural, the under-developed and the un-developed side? Nobody pays any attention and no developments take place there. What about the people who are living in such areas? They are further pushed into the dark.. As an example, take my hometown which is the birth place of a well known river. You must be thinking blessed people. But unfortunate, the fact is water crisis is severe during these peak summer months . At times it looks funny when people there say 'we have no water, but you people in cities are lucky enough'. Their condition is pathetic.. Why isn't the Government doing anything about it? This is not something new that has come up. Water scarcity during summer has been there from quiet a few years.Who's going to listen to the woes of pathetic public if not the elected reps. Are these people meant only to get a photograph clicked of lighting a candle or cut a ribbon or visit a family devastated by an earthquake or famine and give them a few rupee notes or a cheque? Defenetly not! There is something more then this, which the so called 'politicians' are running away from ? British should have continued ruling over us. That would have been better, rather than we have our current day corrupt politicians........ A wise, intelligent and a sensible man like Kalam is being pulled down. The other days report in TOI states 'Kalam wouldnot be continuing for the second term' is a bad news indeed. If such wise people are not ruling the country, then who else would? Some illiterate, ignorant, biased, foreigners? 'Let the country and the people in there go to docks...........who cares?Letme enjoy the power, status and make a lot of money for me, my children, grandchildren' is the attitude exhibited by our so-called MP's. What would be the future of next generation????? I just wonder...

Well, it is a problem, but merely stating the problem will not solve the issue! What do you have to suggest? What are you doing? Most of today understand the current issues of this Country, but no progress is made because there's no direction. Make a start, suggest a solution, perhaps someone someday will take it up...!

@ genevieve -Thanx for visiting my blog.

@ ud - Thanks for visitng my blog and giving your views. I do agree with you to the fact that all of us only talk, talk n talk, but do nothing at all for improvement. To begin with, i would like to point out to the fact that nobody dares to speak out publicly about the injustice being done to them or about the sufferings, fearing harm to them and to their family. The fact is anyone who comes forward is being nipped off.
Rather people prefer remaining silent, cursing their ill fate. In my opinion, people will have to be given the freedom to express themselves.Simutaneously, a leader who's realistic, unbiased, understands the basic problems & gives appropriate solution has to be elected. This is all i can think of.

Ud your views plz......
